OK, Rich's comments got me to actually look at my car. I rescind my comment about using a Phillips on posidrive screws, I doscovered my '54 body #3552, has phillips screws for the hinges, which would explain why they worked fine with a Phillips screwdriver. The Anderson Moment book talks about the posidrive being used starting in about '61, that is in the fastener section at the end, didn't check the BN1 section. Greg Lemon 54 BN1 |
