I would agree with Micheal, on this, you have probably already addressed
this, but the only other thing I can think of is that the hose outlet is
crudded/corroded and doesn't make for a good seal, outlet slight out of
round unless crimped (sharp angle) should not be a problem as hose and clamp
should conform to the shape pretty easily.
Pulling the radiator is not to much of a job on a 4 cylinder, not sure about
a six, but sounds like you are headed in that direction.
Depending on your proclivities and tools shouldn't be too hard to solder or
braze up, or have a shop do it.
