Jim,

I am in the process of installing a complete Falcon stainless steel system
(AH Spares) on a '67 BJ8 within the next week or so. It will be installed
using the appropriate complete hangar kits, and the car is original enough
to have all the correct factory mounting points intact.

So far, the front pipes have been installed and I am very impressed by two
recent improvements.....

1. The 3 holes in the exhaust pipes that fit onto the manifold studs have
been enlarged somewhat so the pipe flange slips onto the studs easily.
2. The position of the bottom ends of the pipes after the flex sections are
perfectly aligned up into and taking full advantage of the front outrigger
relief contour. Well done! These have been observed in the past to be way
out of alignment and usually positioned too low.

On the negative side the two steel faced manifold to pipe flange gaskets
supplied in the "front kit" were ridiculously undersized and wouldn't come
even close to fitting the manifold studs. Luckily I had a new pair of the
usual copper faced sandwiched gaskets that fit perfectly.

I'll let you know the outcome of the rest of it when I install it in the
next week or so. I'll try to get up in there and supply pics too.

Rich Chrysler
