Jack, 
As an ex naval officer, will recall that England's greatest living Sailor,
as an Irish friend of mine called him, Admiral Nelson, did in fact have
double jointed fingers and wrists. This, actually, is why he always kept one
hand up tucked into his jacket and the other behind his back when sitting
for portraits. French claims to have wounded his arm are thus discounted and
their lack of sportsmanship is borne out in their continued persecution of
this gallant sailor/mechanic which culminated in his being killed whilst
sailing off Trafalgar.

There, I hope I haven't left anyone out! Being Irish, I can get away with
some of it.
