The pump pressure makes no difference to how the SU carbs run.  The only
risk with a high pressure pump is that it will overload the foat/needle cut
off and keep pumping eventhough the float bowls are full.  As long as
the bowls aren't overflowing with fuel, then everything should be just fine.
