I just read the recent thread about assembling HS carbs. One suggestion was
to use petroleum jelly on the jet diaphram. In the past I have seem
suggestions to use petroleum jelly on o-rings.
This is not a good idea. It will actually ruin the o-rings. The best product
to use is a silicone lubricant on the o-rings. Or, even vegetable oil would be
a better solution. I know some will not believe this ........ so flame away!
