Volvo B18 engine is extremely durable. But as or power... Well, it leaves a
little to be desired:
HP SAE output is 115HP/6000rpm
Torque SAE is 112 lb.ft. at 4000rpm.
The best part of this setup is the Volvo gearbox. It's one of the best
gearboxes I have seen, a ZF construction. All synchro, fantastic product.
Coupled with OD is a very nice choice.
I wonder why no one uses this gearbox for conversions - it's small and
lightweight....
