Ira -

Since you should have H6 carbs on your car, it will be sensitive to having
air leak past the throttle shaft.

When rebuilt, sometimes rebuilders will rebush them, other times no.  When
the car gets hot, the aluminum body expands faster than the brass throttle
shaft, allowing air to seep in, causing your mixture to lean out and the
idle to slow down.  If it wasn't bushed, this is probably your problem.

Try oiling each side of each carb when it gets hot and see if your idle
recovers a bit.  If so, then the carbs need to be bushed.
