Typical 6 cylinder Austin-Healey problem. Usually the rocker shaft is worn=
=20
and oil is spread all over under the rocker cover. Rocker number 10 or 11=
=20
is directly under the ventilation and blows oil directly into it.
Problem solved by replacing the worn rocker shaft and new bushes for the=20
rockers.
Let it done by a specialist, as it needs some Healey engine knowledge to do=
=20
it right.

Short of pulling my head, is there anyway to test where the oil is
coming from? My rear air filter has a lot of oil blow by. I should
clean it every 1000 miles or so. So is it coming from Valve stem seals,
valve guides or rocker arm??? When I adjusted my valves I did not see a
lot of oil pumping from the rocker arms. I plan to drive my car on a=20
3000 trip in Sept from Portland,OR to Deadwood, SD fro Conclave and
thought I should address this before going.
