typical LED lamp bulb replacement will likely not work, negative ground Hea=
leys will be fine. An incandescent bulb indeed does not care about polarit=
y. Sorry for my absentmindedness!

ng device is a generator or alternator, LED bulbs do care about polarity, s=
o if you have a negative ground Healey, check with the bulb manufacturer to=
see if the bulb you need/want is available for negative ground polarity.

They sell a LED bulb as a replacement. A lot more expensive but will it wor=
k on my alternator converted car ? I assume a lot brighter.
