Which transmission do you have Ira?
The Toyota W-58 was the most popular, and on it the transmission drive gear
is available in a range of ratios (due to the fact that trans was used in a
variety of vehicles).
This can be a useful addition, especially since a Healey with a 5-speed
likely also has tires different from the stock, and often a changed rear
end ratio, too.
That drive gear was pretty inexpensive last time I looked.
