Hi all,
The recent messages about Andrex shocks got me to thinking about the shocks
on my TC.
I have a '46 TC (0524) that was known to have been a Police car.
Unfortunately, all the original equipment has been lost. But the shocks on
the car are marked Luvax-Girling instead of just Girling. The fill hole on
these is on the side rather than on top as on other TCs. Does anyone know
if these were a Police type special or just from a prewar car? Greens book
on Police cars makes no mention of special shocks.
