Dear All
The Jaerger gauge in my MG TC does not read and I would appreciate some help.
It is the same as my healey, a mercury filled capillary tube from the radiator
into the rear of the gauge. The questions I have are:
1. would you immediately assume that the gauge is at fault or could it be the
temp. sensor at the radiator or the capillary tube be the problem?
2. I cant see how the capillary tube which enters the rear of the gauge is
removed in order to remove the gauge for inspection or testing. I thought that
removing the 3 small screws on the outside of the gauge would allow the tube
to just slip out, however all that appears to happen is that the internals
move around inside the casing and the tube remains somehow fixed inside.

Any advice or a link to a web page would be great

Thanks
