Tim,

The capaliary tube does not get removed from the gauge, you will have to 
remove the sensor bulb from the radiator header tank and snake the tube 
and bulb out with the gauge.  The gauge and tube will then have to be 
shipped to Nisongers <http://www.nisonger.com/> or to theJohn Wolfe Co. 
<http://www.tempman.qpg.com/> for repair.  By the way, the bulb and 
capaliary tube contains a working fluid like ether or such, but not 
mercury.
