To clarify, I have been using the WIX 51374 on A, B and the TD, as I 
said, without a problem.  Barney's site has a link to an area that 
shows problems the threads so the filter might not tighting down 
correctly... I made the suggestion that he might have the same problem 
with threads not allowing the filter seat because his question was 
about leakage and the proper filter.

Bud seems to be talking about the seal between the adapter and the 
engine, I'm just talking about the oil filter and how it seats.
