Thanks to all for the information on where to drill the threshold plates.
Yesterday I checked the fitting of the plates and indeed, the underdoor
surface is flat enough to accept the plates wit screws. The problem now is
that the door interferes with the plate. I have just installed the door
after painting the body, and I guess that a little more adjusting work will
be required.
