Hello John ...

I installed the full cloth tonneau several years ago and it works well. In
cool weather with just me in the car, it helps reduce the old air intake and
provides some added heat. It is also a good place to keep things under it
and out of prying eyes.

After additional reading, I understand the originally only half tonneaus
were installed. But I must say the full tonneau looks slick as well.

Moss sells a spray to help keep it clean and waterproofed. It seems to work
well. Also they sell a cleaner for the top.

Cheers

Like everybody else, I recently received the Moss flyer for "software."
Despite almost 30 years with my TD, I have never had a tonneau and am
wondering why. 'Course, the prices have gone up quite a bit over the years.
Since the tonneau was not part of the original fitment for the TD and was
always an aftermarket item, I'm considering the vinyl (despite the Stayfast
cloth hood and curtains I'm using). My question concerns how it looks
cosmetically. Is it "fake canvas weave" patterned, "fake leather" embossed
pattern, or smooth and shiney like God made vinyl? I have a
leather-embossed vinyl tonneau on my TR3 and am quite satisfied with it.

Has anybody tried out the Vinyl Moss offering and what are your
impressions. If everybody yells "Boo, boo!", I guess I'll cough up the
extra $150 for the cloth tonneau.
Thanks in advance!
