Has anyone here used the D&D (or similar) adapter plate
to mount a Ford T-5 onto a Buick 3/4 spd bellhousing?
Is it just a flat plate that goes between the two items
in question? How thick is it, and are there any ill
effects of moving the input-shaft that distance further
away from the flywheel? I assume that the splines must
still fully engage the clutch, or else it wouldn't be a
feasable option.
Thanks.
James J.
