I always thought the rear from the AWD Buick Rendezvous, Pontiac 
Montana, Aztek would be a good candidate for use in the MGB-V8. 
Aluminum cross member, SLA independent suspension.  Should be cheap.

Now we just need someone with welding talent, time and ambition.  I only 
have one of the three.
