I upgraded the rear springs of my 73 B one week... raced it that
weekend. The list-to-the-left was still there, as well as a very
pronounced roll.... BTW, for folks who are still wondering about my
"suspension balancing" question... we got the photos developed and the
car was NOT lifting the inside rear wheel. Just a trick of the light.
It >was< however rolling like a tugboat.
When I uprated the front springs the next week, the sag went away. The
roll was >much< better (these were 25% greater than stock front springs).
I then upgraded the sway bar from 9/16" to 3/4" and the car behaves as I
expect.
Anyway, I expect your front springs are tired if the back ones are.
Front shocks bear the brunt of worn steering components... that's my
theory on why they don't last as long.
If you are into originality you might not want a front sway bar,
otherwise: recommended.
