3/4 inch sway bar on solid mounts (delrin or some such) will transform the
car. Also yes to everything else except rear sway bar, not desirable on the
street except on late high-bumper cars. The factory offered a 5/8 front bar
almost from the start as an option, and it got standardised, later in 65 if I
remember correctly. Holes must be drilled in the front lower A-arm, or snag a
good pair of used or new already drilled from a later (but NOT big bumper
era) car. While you're in there, replace the A-arm bushings with MGBV8 type
(delrin or something again) semi-solid bushings. This will help big-time.
As for your leaning to port, my suspicion is that your P.O. had a big sag to
driver's side and switched springs hoping to straighten it out, or else a
very large dimension significant other! :)
