It's kinda funny that these cars aren't enthusiasts cars, MG used them
extensively for rally racing and they have all the bits (IFS, rack & pinion,
4 speed) that make for a fun little sedan. I've driven Jag Mark Is and Mark
IIs and this car is lighter and quicker through corners. Except for the
fact you won't get wet when you drive the car in the rain, this car is all
MG.

What do you think is a fair price? If this were an MGA in similar condition
the car would be worth $6,000-$8,000, but it isn't an MGA; if this car were
an MGTF it would be worth $10,000-$12,000, but it isn't an MGTF. Instead,
it is the sedan version of an MGTF with a MGA drivetrain; and a whole lot
rarer then either of those models.

I don't know why the MG community discounts these cars, is it because they
haven't driven one? Is it because it doesn't have a convertible top, if so
why isn't the MGPB saloon discounted? Jeez, they look like a Jag, have the
classic MG grill, and drive like an MG, why the scorn?

Let me know when you find out. I know they have not gone for much in the
past
because they never really became enthousists car. I Don't have a whole lot
of
$$ but if the price is right I'm interested.
