Yes, this is a common problem with B's. It has to do with that unique closing
rod on the lefthand side. Short of purchasing a new one, better than half of
the donor cars you might pull the boot lid from will have this same little
glitch.

As to who might have expertise in fixing LBC's...well, a good body shop is a
good body shop. They speak no particular language. Motor shops and
restoration shops to tend to specialise, but for a good body man, sheet metal
is sheet metal. If you've got a good shop somewhere in your town, then they
should be able to work on your B. If you've no good body shop, find another
town (I don't mean relocate; cast about the surrounding countryside for one
near the town you're in. Near may be a subjective term.)

My own Rags has a slight case of this bootlid warp; nothing too drastic and
you kind of have to know B's to even notice it. I solved it by using a
slightly thicker piece of gasket on the lefthand side (+1/8 inch). Although
this doesn't precisely correct the problem, it does keep my boot from
leaking. You might also be able to get by by putting a small shim in the lid
hinge on the righthand side, and then increasing the size of the entire
gasket. I considered this, as well.

Luck.
