Hi again. First off, apologies for sending mail earlier
from "nobody@nowhere.nil". I'd set my from address in
Netscape that way to prevent getting junk email, and
forgot to switch back to normal for sending to this list.
I wanted to send a note to explain to funky address but since
I'm posting, here are two questions I've had on my mind:
First off:
I'm detailing my engine and wonder what color paint the
head on a late MGB (79 or 80) should be. The block is
painted red, so I assumed the head originally was as well.
The remanufactured head I just bought is painted black.
My local shop had a sample B engine mounted on a stand, and
the head on it is red. Anybody know?
And second:
Can someone tell me what all the acronmyms are that I keep
seeing? :-)
DPO - D??? Previous Owner D = (dumb? disappointed? deranged? Denise? :-)
LBC - L??? British Car L = (Lucas?)
I can't get through to the ftp archives right now to find an FAQ.
