           Agreed but the TC was a derivitive of a pre-war technology which
           had similarities with others.

        The Mini was a nomination but rejected by the author somewhat
        dismissivly because it stopped every time it rained. It was thought
        to be a clever design but poorly executed. While the mini was not the
        first east-west engine, Morris persisted and improved on the idea,
        unlike Saab.
