Had the same problem about four years ago when I didn't drive my B for about
eight weeks when I was doing a respray. The peddle went to the floor, which
is exciting when you have a steep driveway. Thank God for the hand brake! I
bled the system and never had another problem. There was some leakage around
the pressure warning assembly which has never reocurred. I don't add brake
fluid on a routine basis. I've put about 40,000 miles on the car since that
episode with no problems. Strange, huh?
