John:-

I have some knowledge of the Panther. I first saw one at the Earl's
Court Motor Show in London in around 1974. The model I saw was a
beautiful car, and a quality construction-- no fiberglass. It was most
like a Jag SS 100, with big chrome headlights. I think it had a Jag
drive train. I was with my Dad at the time and remember promising him
that I would buy him one when I got rich ( I was in high school at the
time). Obviously, I ain't got rich yet.

I have heard of a few models that made it to the States.

The last I heard the car is still being made, but by Korean firm.
