I just gave APT ring ... I'm afraid that the "A" series books is
as close as you are going to get ... Vizard has not published
one for the "B" series engine. I would recommend Peter
Burgess's book as the info on cylinder head mods is excellent
and probably the one area of Vizard's "A" series book that
does not apply to the "B" series engine.

SUB4/2 Fab. Steel 2X SU In/Man. 'B' 2X H/HS4 $179.78
SUB6/2 Fab. Steel 2X SU In/Man. 'B' 2X H/HS6 $189.78
SUB4/0 Fab. Steel 2X SU In/Man. 'B' 2X H4 $179.78
SUB8/0 Fab. Steel 2X SU In/Man. 'B' 2X H8 $199.78

The last digit is the manifold angle ... IOW, the SUB4/2 has
the same 20 degree angle as the stock MGB manifold (rises
upward form the head at a 20 degree angle) and the SUB4/0
does not.

Fitting the SUB4/2 to a *stock* MGB engine should give you
a 2 to 3 bhp (4 to 5%) increase at the wheels ... substantially
more with the cylinder head mods outlined in Burgess's book.
