YES!

No. Accelerate normally to crusing speed (ie. the speed at which you
want to check the mixture. Hold that speed for 3-5minutes. This will
allow you to get a better "read". Then do a "clean cut" That is depress
the clutch at the same time you kill the ignition. CAUTION! DO NOT TURN
THE KEY TO THE LOCK POSITION. A loss of steering control will result.
Coast to a stop, and pull a plug. the color should be about that of a
chocolate milk shake - light brown to tan.

No, because the idle will cause a false rich reading.
