I recently leaned out my carbs a bit (using Colortune as a guide).
After a long trip (with exceptional gas mileage) I checked my plugs to
make sure I wasn't running TOO lean. Refering to my Haynes manual, if it
is too lean, the plugs are likely to have a glazed apearance, with very
little soot, (or something like that!). However The plugs are like the
picture of the normal plug, but more of an orangey colour, instead of the
usual tan colour.
