I think there is a definite limit to air flow through the existing system
no matter how strong the fan.  At least on my Sprite, the defrost vent is
a very narrow slit through which the air has to pass.  If you are going to
significantly improve air flow (while keeping noise down) you should look
at all parts of the systems in terms of air flow limitations (i.e.
pressure drop).
