Well I went to take my 76B for it's sunday
drive and it started rattling from somewhere
in the engine.
The engine is only about 6 months old with say
500 or so miles on it. The noise was a rattling
noise, more high-pitched than rumbling low
(please dont' say bearings, they're new).
Driving before the engine rebuild I remember
distinctly the bearing rumble and valve clatter,
and this sounds like neither, really. I would
hope that the rockers aren't out of adjustment
already (haven't checked them yet).
The only things I've done differently are
replace plugs with proper length, and I filled
up with 91 octane as opposed to 93 that I've
been putting in.
Any suggestions on what it could be? Thanks,
