The Lindsay Porter book on Midgets and Sprites has a short chapter also, i
can't find your original post so i'm not sure which you were looking for
although i figure they are pretty similar.

I just this very moment finished installing a brand spanking soft top on my
Midget and I have to say that it looks f*%%ing great!!! It took me all of 2
hours and a little care and patientence. My mechanic (my EX-MECHANIC)
wanted $250.00 to install it. He said that the average installation is 5
hours. He must have some s-l-o-w people working for him!! On saturday I
followed Frank Clarici's instructions for making my own carpets for the
Midget and next I am going to tackle that exhaust leak. My days of going to
overpriced mechanics are over!!!
