        Don't we all. If you want a permanent repair put a new door skin
on. It can be welded but the weld will crack again. If you go the welding
route weld a patch over the crack and not the itself. If you don't have
welding equipment you can pop rivit a small piece of metal on. Then grind
the rivits down and carefully pound the patch below the surface. With this
done fill the dent with body filler. Sand and repaint. If done right you
will get a few more years out of it for only a few bucks worth of
material.
