You don't *have* to remember to turn them on and off, neither do you *need* a 
tell-tale light.  The 3rd/4th inhibit swich is there to ensure that the O/D can 
only engage when it should.  'Course, if one chooses to run the car with the 
inhibit switch - er, inhibited, then ...
