A friend of mine has a TR8. When they're right they're a pretty nice
car. But all those modern improvements can be hell to maintain to us
neadrathal garage dwellers. My buddy's car has a seal leak in the power
steering rack which is darn near irreplacable and non fixable. Also, the
bushings and struts on the front make overhauling a daunting proposition
compared to our old hay wagons.

The build quality and, uh, creative British design practices, have left
the car with many irritating little problems that are a real headache to
keep on top of. In review, my pal likes his car mainly cause the SO
really likes it but it is painful to maintain. Plenty fast, though.
