new crank or remanufactured

Hi all, here=B4s a no brainer question that I just have to ask. My MGB77
cranck is beyond repair and does not qualify as a rebuildable core. I can
get a new Crank for about 600$ or a remanufactured one for about 289$ I know
the best way out is a new crank but considering the price difference how
wrong can I go with a reman crank.
