Funny how all things old are new again (with a twist). First heard the one
about the refunded $ and where did the difference go, about 25 years or so,
ago. At that time it was 3 salesmen renting a room in a hotel, were
overcharged, etc and the bellboy who was returning the overcharge pocketed
the balance. Obviously old because where can you get a room for $30. any
more? For that matter, where can you get a decent meal for the $10., range?
Did the MG have a side car attached to fit all 3 ladies? Just kidding.

Recently stumbled upon these pages and enjoying them throughly.

There is no extra 1#. The three old ladies paid 25# for the meal and 2# to
the waiter (27#) and got 3# back which totals 30#.
