On the car?
My idea is to fix what I can in the driveway and not scrimp on a simple
brake/bearing job, then have it on the road again...with a better looking
and working system in the fender well, with no rust for a while.
Besides, I have no compressor, no garage, etc...hehe.
After I wrote the message, I thought about cutting a disc from a 3M green or
black pad and attaching it to the shaft/screw part.
Maybe I just answered my own question!
