I got sucked into that deal a couple of years ago at the Healey
Conclave in Montibello. When we flew into Montreal, the Hertz people
claimed they were out of intermediate cars and gave us a Lincoln Town
Car at the same rate. The first gas station had 51.9 on the sign and I
thought I'd hit the mother lode. It never occurred to me that that was
the liter price.
