Matt, = I had something similar happen recently. In my case, there was about 1/8= inch or so of the old bolt sticking out of the hole with the extractor in= it. I used my Dremel tool to cut the bolt flush with the housing while leaving the screw extractor sticking out 1/8 inch. In my case it was tha= t left just enough to get ahold of with vise grips and I was able to back o= ut the extractor. Hope you are as fortunate as I was. Rich Peterson |
