This (I omitted in my original mail, but then I thought it didn't matter;
I was just making a point here about something totally different)
was about two years ago.
Sources:
(1) "De Telegraaf", with 800,000 copies the largest daily newspaper here in
Holland.
First day the newsitem itself, next day the reaction from the environmentalists.
(2) BBC WorldService, a British radio program targeted to an audience abroad.
(I listen to the BBC radio almost every night, as I find it keeps me well
informed about
what's going on in the rest of the world. Politics, economics, you name it.
Very objectively, in my opinion. Can be heard on shortwave. Loud and clear in
South America, Italy or wherever. Something like CNN International on TV,
in case you are familiar with that.
Since I have a busy job, I don't always have the time to watch TV. But
listening to the BBC is almost always possible, even on my car radio when I
return home, late at night).

Can't remember or find exactly _when_ I read it; like everybody else, I
throw away
the back issues of my newspaper after a few weeks...

So am I, as I mentioned earlier. The point I was trying to make had
in _no_way_ anything to do with the condition of the ozone layer, but rather
that certain opinions are too easily taken for granted and any differing view
is met with intolerance.
YMMV; insights on the condition of the OL may even have changed again since
then...

..wondering right now whether there is a correlation between LBC owners
and BBC listeners...
