Thanks for your interest. My problem is that after an engine out
rebuild, the fuel and temperataure guages do not work, and they used to
last year when the car was last used.  In an earlier list question I was
advised to test the voltage stabilizer but      could never work out what to
do on my multimeter. However the biggest problem was getting myself
ready to hang upside down under the dash!
If I knew the best way to reach the VS I wouold start training for the
physical aspects of this challenge.
