Hi John and Matthew,
        I've had one of those auxillary cooling fans on my 70 BGT for about
10 years now, and I must say that I'm not that impressed.  Car still runs
between normal and hot on hot days, and the fan coming on throws the idle
off, so it runs rough at stop signs.  I'd get a heavy duty radiator core
and not bother.  Just my $.02                      Nina
