I agree that it is your image, but unfortunately by putting it on the web
in reality you make it fair game to the world.  Especially since it is an
international network.  If it was all in one country then you might have a
shot at some damages.  Many countries do not even respect intellectual
property rights;  think of all of the software that is getting pirated on the 
web.  The owners of the software cannot stop it and that is costing them
a ton in sales.  If they can't stop that, how are you going to stop image
pirating.  Your cached copy in your web browser can even be considered
an infringement.
