I don't worry about having my phone number on the internet much, after all,
I'm in the book and if you really want to find me, just go to Four-11,
Bigfoot or Infospace. There I am. I don't hide from anybody.

I like the idea of having it tied to all of the British car lists. I'm not
going to leave some Enthusiast at the side of the road just because he
isn't driving an MG. (Well of course he isn't driving it if he needs help,
but you know what I mean.)

Skye,

I think the phone number on the list is probably a bad idea in this world
we live in. While not a perfect solution, I would recommend that you put
email addresses and towns of residence on the list and have the tripper
send email to the necessary people before disembarking on a voyage. For
emergencies, you could have key volunteers in various parts of the
country/continent/world with their phone numbers published. Those folks
could then maintain the phone numbers for the people in their area that
provide them.

Not perfect, but a start??

Scott
