Not only heartache or cost of repairing ones vehicle, but if wheels fall
off or cars pop into gear, even if there is only a REMOTE CHANCE, it is
entirely possible that someone could lose their life or get seriously hurt
if something goes wrong while blasting down the insterstate at x mph.

Think carefully about the opinions you express on the list - there are a lot
of people who will take your word as gospel and go out and follow your
advice. The number of deaths and injuries on the road is appalling.

This of course goes for many other issues. Give your braking system top
priority and keep your suspension in good order. Replace two point belts
with three point. Don't drive tired. Etc etc.

In short, Safety Fast.
