Recommended reading

Hi all, I'm trying to learn more about engine fundamentals and
automobile handling. I'm planning on purchasing Fred Puhn's book "how to
make your car handle", Vizard's "How to Make Horsepower, Vol 1" and Ben
Watson's book on modifying cylinder heads.

Can anyone suggest other books to purchase?  I don't mind theory, as
long as it leads up to practical knowledge.
