Why shocked? Those prices seem very reasonable assuming that the kits will
contain all the parts necessary to rebuild your carburetors.

I presume the company that quoted you is Burlen Fuel Systems and they are
the people currently supplying new SUs and all the parts to rebuild them. At
least if you buy from them you should get the correct parts, as they know
what a Riley 1.5 is. Since that car was never officially imported into the
US, why would you expect a US supplier to have the right parts for a lower
price?
