Neil--
According to Clausager,and to what I observed in dismantling my old
engine, you would assemble the engine, less carbs, draincock, dist.,
copper tubing and a few other ansilary items, then spray the whole show.
The fastenners and the exposed edges of the gaskets are painted. So is
the carb heat shield, BTW.
